Vandaar dat Roger Sanchez zelf de laatste details wilde verklappen over de sfeer van 20 juni.

Worldwide you're promoting the Release Yourself concept with great cd releases and unforgettable club nights. Can you tell us something about the feeling, the idea and the concept of Release Yourself? 

This year the theme is based on water and it’s various forms. Being on an island like Ibiza draws many parallels for me between water and music. 

You have gigs all over the world at the finest party's so you would say you know your audience by now. We would like you to tell us how the Dutch people are different from the rest of the world?  

I am very impressed with the vibe I get from the Dutch clubbers. The Dutch audience is among the worlds most energetic and they are definitely up for my long sets.

You always try to make every show personal and special. On June 20 your Dutch fans will come to Eindhoven to experience your show with an exclusive 6hour set. Can you give us a little sneak preview of what the fans can expect?

It will be a musical journey that will start deep and builds in energy throughout the night. I will also drop plenty of tracks from my Release Yourself compilation in addition to many exclusives.  

You are a very busy and multi-talented person. As a producer, performer, label owner and club promoter you have a lot of things on your mind. Can you tell us what you're the most proud of? 

I have tons of accomplishments that I’m proud of, including all the various awards and

big records, but I must say becoming a dad this last year is right up there.  

There are so many great songs in the world and as a musician it is very difficult to choose one favourite number. Could you try to make a choice and tell us which song turned your world upside down?

It is really difficult to come up with one particular song. My Release Yourself compilations really give you a snapshot on where I am musically at that given time. So it will usually be a collection of the songs that are turning my world upside down at that given moment.  

You have played in so many different clubs, if you could change something in the club circuit, what would it be?  

Make clubs less about bottle service, more about the dance floor. Although I do understand the financial realities associated with running a successful club.

Na ruim 9 maanden afwezigheid is het tij eindelijk gekeerd. Hij is terug! Na Ibiza, New York, Los Angelese, Brazilie, The Sand Amsterdam en Miami is het weer zover. De veren gaan overeind staan, de zonnebril gaat op, zijn sound is ongekend. Roger Sanchez presents: “Release Yourself”! De grote man die afgelopen jaar Ibiza deed trillen komt met zijn Release Yourself avond naar Nederland om de release van zijn nieuwe CD: Release Yourself 7 te vieren. Vrijdag 20 juni in het Beursgebouw Eindhoven is het moment daar, de S-Man returns !

Inmiddels is het alweer het 6e jaar dat Sanchez zijn eigen Release Yourself avond host op de maandag in de Pacha Ibiza en ook in Nederland heeft hij deze fantastische avond al eens neergezet. Dit jaar en primeur met een maar liefst een 6 uur durende set. Uniek voor Nederland, maar in andere delen van de wereld zijn de marathon sets van de S- Man keer op keer een gekkenhuis. Nu is Nederland aan de beurt !

Roger Sanchez is al jaren een van de belangrijkste house DJ’s en is er mede voor verantwoordelijk dat deze sound naar een hoger niveau is getild. Zijn typische sound heeft hem tot 1 van de populairste house DJ’s ter wereld gemaakt. Zijn label Stealth Records is een van de meest toonaangevende dance labels in de business en ook zijn Release Yourself radio shows worden elke week gemiddeld door zo’n anderhalf miljoen mensen beluisterd.

Om de avond compleet te maken hebben we ook een 2e zaal geprogrammeerd met de beste DJ’s van Nederland. 
Roog staat al jaren aan de top van de housescene en nog constant in beweging met nieuwe projecten. Chuckie rocks ! Na Nederland verovert te hebben is nu de rest van de wereld aan de beurt, maar op 20 juni zal hij in Eindhoven zijn uber snelle skills ten gehore te brengen.

Tom de Neef, Baggi Begovic, Funkerman, Bart B More, Andy Sherman en Luci?Foort zijn artiesten met de sound van nu. Allen hebben super dikke producties op hun conto en meer dan eens bewezen de zaal te rocken.

En last but not least zijn de hotste Nederlandse dj’s van dit moment, Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano, toegevoegd aan de line up. Op geen festival weg te denken deze zomer, kunnen jullie ze nu eerst op deze bijzondere en exclusive Release Yourself avond horen.
